About
Michelle Garzon is a New York based artist and a first-generation immigrant from Ecuador. Growing up in a Latin household meant there were always family or friends visiting from all over the world. Because of the ephemeral nature of those relationships she would often turn to art as a means to escape a hectic home. The juxtaposition of her rich, Latin heritage and upbringing in New York City can be seen through Michelle’s work. She honed her skills first at Frank Sinatra School of the Arts where she learned to paint and draw. Later at Parsons School of Design, she pursued a discipline in Illustration and developed a love for toy design. She is a creative and passionate person who is always looking to expand her knowledge and grow her career in art and design.
